Hand Made Musical Instruments
My name is Anthony James and In the early 90s I started making several ethnic musical instruments including slit drums, wind chimes, rain sticks and dijeridoos. In 1996 I started working for Andrew Norman and helped to produce several hundred concertinas with Andrew. I also helped to design and produce the Sherwood concertina for Pete McClelland at Gremlin Music. After the new millennium I became interested in making native American flutes. Presently I am making my own concertina models and a few batches of native American style flutes, all of which you can see on these pages.
